Successful cross-business training "SAFe for Architects"

21 participants from four member companies took part in the "SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) for Architects" training organised by the user association CBA Lab in March. The training thus followed exactly the cross-business-architecture idea that CBA Lab has in its title and that distinguishes its work and its network.

The training specifically addressed the role of architects in the context of agile development methods – how can architects provide the best possible support in agile organisational forms and what rights and obligations does this entail? In addition to the introduction and theory, the knowledge gained was made more applicable to daily practice through accompanying practical group exercises. The virtual training was conducted using a Miro virtual whiteboard and led by Detecon. The four full-time days were spread over two weeks to optimise absence from the workplace and minimise the load on the training participants.

By bundling the training needs through CBA Lab, the training costs for the participants were reduced by 40% compared to the usual market price. The participant price includes an examination voucher, which each participant can use to take the certification examination to become a "Certified SAFe® Architect" after the training.
